붕중(崩中); 혈붕(血崩)

Metrorrhagia; Metrorrhagia disorder

Characterized by irregular menstrual cycle and sudden, profuse uterine bleeding. Often occurs when heat forces the blood to move recklessly. Alternatively, it may occur as a result of stagnant blood or qi failing to secure the Chong and Ren meridians.

[병증] 월경주기와 무관하게 불규칙적인 출혈이 일어나는 병증. 대량의 지속적인 질 출혈을 이른다. → 붕(崩). =경붕(經崩), 붕중(崩中), 혈붕부지(血崩不止).
