Meridians and collaterals are pathways for qi and blood to flow throughout the body. They form a comprehensive network linking the tissues and internal organs into an organic whole.

경락(經絡)

[경락] 경맥과 낙맥을 합하여 이르는 말. ‘경’은 인체 내 기혈이 운행하는 통로 가운데 길이 방향으로 흐르는 주요 노선을 이르고, ‘락’은 나망의 의미로 경의 분지로 횡행하는 소노선을 이른다. 인체 내의 기혈운행의 통로로서 표리, 상하를 통하고 장부와 기관을 연계하는 독특한 계통이다.
