신미(辛味)

Pungent flavour

Medicines with a pungent flavour act to disperse/circulate qi and move blood. They are indicated for exterior pattern, qi stagnation and blood stasis.

신미(辛味)

[본초] 오미(五味)의 하나로 매운맛. 매운맛은 발한(發汗)하게 하고 사기를 흩어지게 하며 기와 혈액 순환을 촉진한다. 신미(辛味)를 가진 약물로는 방풍, 형개, 백지, 목향, 천궁, 강황 등이 있다. → 신(辛).
