증(證)

(1) 환자에게서 나타나는 여러 가지 증상들을 종합 분석하여 한의학적으로 진단한 병증 이름. 예를 들면 표실증(表實證), 태양증(太陽證) 등이다.
(2) 한의학에서 치료할 때 병증에 나타나는 개별적 증상들을 말함.
