An extraordinary organ. A collective term for brain marrow, spinal cord and bone marrow. Marrow is transformed from kidney essence.

수(髓)

기항지부(奇恒之腑)의 하나. 골수와 척수를 말하며, 그것은 신(腎)의 정기(精氣)와 수곡정미(水穀精微)에서 화생(化生)되어 뼈를 충양(充養)시키고 뇌수를 보익(補益)하는 작용을 한다.
