Heat strangury; Heat stranguria disorder; Damp heat stranguria; acute stranguria

Characterized by frequent, urgent and painful urination with scanty, red urine and a burning sensation. Associated symptoms may include fever, chills, lower back painlower back pain, lower abdominal cramps, distension and pain, a yellow, greasy tongue coating and a slippery, rapid pulse. Often occurs when damp heat affects the kidney and urinary bladder.

열림(熱淋)

[병증] 임병의 하나. 소변색이 황백즙(黃柏汁) 같고, 배뇨시 요도가 열삽(熱澁)하거나 작열감이 있으며, 소복구급동통(小腹拘急疼痛)하고 혹은 오한발열이 동반되는 병증을 이른다.

임증(淋證)의 하나. 습열(濕熱)이 방광으로 몰려 기화(氣化)가 순조롭지 않아 발생한다. 소변이 잘 나오지 않고 임력삽통(淋瀝澁痛)하며 뜨거운 느낌이 있거나, 소복(小腹)이 창만(脹滿)하며 뱃살이 땅기면서 아프고 변비가 생긴다.
